Analysing 3 film websites in terms of conventions of film websites:

I will be analysing 3 film websites from different genres in terms of their conventions of film websites.

I chose 3 different films from 3 different genres. These are 'Deadpool 2', 'Alien', and 'Olympus Has Fallen'.

I chose these 3 different films as they are each from different genres but will still allow me to show similarities and differences.


The main conventions I will be looking out for are:

• Purpose of product
• release dates
• posters or trailers showing what the film is about
• information on the film - i.e. synopsis
